It is a cheap win and if you are consistently eco-ing until that point there is no way you are able to defend. I have no problem with monkeys being meta but most players will rush you with camo regrow purples as soon as they are available which is pretty early on in game. My huge note however is the player base and annoying cheap play styles. Very grindy and just needs to be a little faster progression. This game however, is also a lot of fun…… when you actually are able to play with the upgrades and monkeys and hero’s you want which takes a lot of time. Always had so much fun and the newest main installment BTD6 is great and a lot of fun.
Xp is way to slow and players are just annoyingįirst of all, I have been playing Bloons games since coolmath4kids and I love the game. Overall, this is a great game, and I love it, but it needs some major improvements to hero balancing and paying for the game. I also find the fact that you lose a trophy for disconnecting from your internet before the game starts very annoying, but I am not very upset about it as it does not happen often. I think that it is fine for someone to have more power based off of what they pay, but the heroes should be more balanced and maybe there should be separate games that put pay-to-winners in battles together instead of making harder for loyal players in order to keep people from uninstalling the game because of an eight-year old with their parent’s credit card info beating them in match after match. I see this as an unfair way for your company to make money and anger the people who have been playing for a long time. I do not enjoy making in-game purchases, but no matter what I do I always lose against people who pay to win the game. I really enjoy this game, and I have been playing the original Bloons TD Battles since I was four, but it seems as if paying for extra heroes and VIP rewards is the only way to win. Anyways it’s a good game and definitely an improvement but there’s some stupid issues. Also Icicle impale is bugged so it can’t hit Moab’s but I’m 99% sure nk knows about that. Once again what’s the point of casual if you less xp. Also you get significantly more xp from ranked then in casual. Let’s be honest here people don’t care about hero cosmetics they just want the new hero so why should I play ranked just to get the hero variant. I have 78 thousand obyn xp but I can’t get ocean obyn because I don’t have the money. Also no monkey money from casual matches is kinda stupid. I have mastery for boomerang and sub but it’s still a grind. Edit: ok so 2 seasons and like 6 updates later and the xp is a bit better.

If you watch an ad to double its over a thousand but if you look at these upgrade 1000 xp for 20-30 minutes of play time. The problem is you average about 600 xp per tower for a round 28+ match. I rarely if ever buy things for games since in my mindset it would be more rewarding if I did it without buying everything than if I did. For one (and I know NK is working on this one) Xp. It was really fun but their were some issues.
